Here comes another update. It is now April 1st; day +6. No mouth sores yet, no fevers or infections. My counts went low enough to recieve the blood transfusion this morning. Now we watch for any signs of infection. This, they tell me, is the critical time. So, pray for today, tomorrow and Friday for no infection or fevers. They have procedures and meds to handle each situation that may come, and most will not hinder my going home on Monday. But, I have done really well so far and I'm praying that will continue. My nausea has been reduced significantly, and for that I am SO grateful. I am enjoying TV Land online to help pass the time.
The kids are doing fantastic; Anna even got a friend to color her hair......just a bit lighter, no drama.......I hope. I could only see it from the web cam so far.
Pray for Katherine as she takes the ACT on Saturday morning. This will be her second time and we will probably register her for it in June for her final try. A certain score enables her to be eligble for scholarship money for college.
Ron is getting tired. Juggling the kids and appointments and work and fixing the pool and visiting me and bringing me clean clothes and.......well, you get the picture. He never complains. I could learn from that!
Thanks for the prayers.....please keep them up.

Oh Jenny, bless your heart! I work in the finance office with Claudia Nolan at church. You are doing so well...I can almost 'hear' the humor in your update. I'm so glad that you don't have the mouth sores, fever and that your nausea has been reduced. I'm praying that you will continue to do better every day. It's great that the kids are doing so well...and like you said Ron is doing good to keep up with what used to take both of you to accomplish! Bless his heart too.

God is good! What a blessing to miss out on some misery!
If you need another time filling resource, I go to www.oneplace.com when I'm on the treadmill. I keeps my brain busy and time goes quickly. I can usually go through 3 sermons a day listening to my favorite speakers(John MacArthur, David Jeremiah, Chuck Swindoll, Allister Begg, Dennis Rainey, etc.) I have a new fav. named Daniel Henderson. I clicked onto his picture just out of curiousity because he has an amazing resemblence to Steve Gray. I really liked him. Even if you don't listen, you've got to at least see what he looks like!
We're praying for you and your family often. We are blessed by your peace, your unshakable faith, Ron's love on display,....all because of a faithful Father! Glory to God!
We pray that all that cross your path see this and not ignore the draw to possess what you have.
God bless these days for eternal purposes!
Love,
Judy

Jenny, I really miss you in our praise team. God is good and continues to bless you and your family. I'm so excited about your recovery from this aweful thing that your having to go through. I know you and your family has been a blessing to me. God DOES do mighty and wonderful things through our prayers. I'm still looking forward to the day that Carol 'gets it', so far that hasn't happened but this is still my prayer and I know God will answer in his own time. Just remember you are loved and prayed for every day.

Hey, so glad to hear that you don't have mouth sores still! I'll definitely be praying during this critical time and that you don't develop infection or complications. I have never heard you complain about anything so I don't know what you are talking about there! :)
Can't wait to see Anna's hair and we'll be praying for Katherine's test.
Ron certainly has been such a solid rock for you and the family. I'll pray especially for him during this time, too.
Love ya! Lisa
