Jenny Goins lives in Orlando Fl and has been diagnosed with Stage 1 Multiple Myeloma. Her diagnosis was in May of 2008. Since that time she was given Revlimid, Dex, Doxil, Velcade, among others, and that brought her count down to almost zero. So in April of 2009, she had a stem cell transplant. At this time (2011) she is only showing an M spike of .3 and holding steady.

Thank you to all who prayed. I get to go home tomorrow because my counts are where they need to be. I also found out that I will be on antifungal, antivirul, and antibiotic for six months. I had no idea. The port should come out in the next 2-3 weeks and I am a very happy camper about that. I will also have to get all my "baby" shots again after a year. So, I can't say enough to all who have prayed and visited and encouraged me during my two week stay here. Ron is very happy too. We're on the count down now!!!

That is so encouraging! I'm so glad that you get to go home. I know you'll feel better there. How interesting about having to retake all your immunizations. Who knew? We will continue to pray and just added an update on you to our Sunday School's prayer list.
Sleep well tonight on your last sleep there! :)

Hi Jenny, I am so happy that we serve a mighty God, ONE who hears and acts on the prayers before HIS throne of Grace. This is great news. Will continue to pray.
I hope you are home with your family even as I type this. I am thankful that you've done so well over these past couple of weeks. We will continue to pray God's provision over you.
Very interesting about the baby shots!
Jenny, you must be home by now. You have made it through a very tough time with poise and grace. It is evident that you KNOW who your savior is and you have absolute trust in Him. You are an encouragement to us. We continue to pray for your complete healing. God is using you through this trial in ways we probably cannot even imagine. JMei says AMEN and Halelulu!
How exciting to be in your own home and bed BEFORE EASTER!! I'm so happy for you that all has gone so amazingly well. Praise the Lord! He is worthy of all glory, majesty and honor!
